Sporting Index predict the MOTD panel on Saturday night will have a combined total of five buttons undone on their shirts
London, 29th January 2008 - In recent weeks the panel of Match of the Day have seemed a little bit hot under the collar. A fortnight ago Lee Dixon had three buttons undone and looked like he was going to go even further before the end of the show. On Saturday night it was Les Ferdinand’s turn to nearly flash some nipple and spread betting company Sporting Index have responded to the BBC 1 stripshow by predicting that the combined total number of undone buttons on Saturday night will be five.
Cuffs aren’t included and the market is based on traditional shirts, so double buttons at the neck are only counted as one. “A number of the Match of the Day team obviously like to flash a little rug,” comments Sporting Index spokesman Karl Suntay, “It actually looks like Lee and Les prefer to wax, but at this stage we reckon there will only be a little bit of button action underneath the heat of the lights and cameras.”
