TIGER SET TO FINISH 6TH
London, 4th April 2007 – Spread Betting Bookmakers Sporting Index today revealed their menu of bets on this week’s Masters and among them is the prediction that Tiger Woods will only finish in 6th place. Punters have to decide whether he’ll finish worse than 7th or better than 5th. What they eventually win or lose depends on the stake size and the scale of how right or wrong they eventually are.
“There is a chance that Tiger Woods will be sent off the shortest price favourite ever for a Major on Thursday afternoon,” predicts Sporting Index spokesman Wally Pyrah. “However, let’s not forget that there are over 90 other runners”.
The World Leaders in their sector also predict that only 13 players will finish under par and that the winning score will be 9 under. They expect the tournament to be won by 2 shots, with the lowest round of the week being a 65.
