IT'S A LONG WAY TO...?
First international Premier League game predicted to take place 5,250 miles away from Wembley Stadium
London, 8th February 2008 - Supporters groups all over the country are venting their fury at the proposed international Premier League fixtures and Sporting Index have opened up a market on how many miles from Wembley Stadium the first international Premier League game will take place.
The prediction is 5,250 and with Singapore 6,750 miles away from London, Sydney 10,550 miles and New York only 3,500 miles, punters will have to decide whether to bet higher or lower on the prediction made.
“It is doubtful that many fans will be making the trip over to Shanghai, Singapore or Sydney,” comments Sporting Index spokesman Karl Suntay, “If the first game takes place in Auckland we would be in real trouble!”
