ITV cameras to cut to Wilkinson or Barkley seven times during crucial game against the Springboks
London, 13th September – It has been a disastrous start to the World Cup for England with injuries and suspensions to key personnel. Spread betting firm Sporting Index are predicting that the ITV cameras will cut to missing fly halves Jonny Wilkinson or Olly Barkley a total of seven times during the 80 minute game against South Africa on Friday Night. Punters have steamed in to back the Springboks on the back of the injuries and they are now forecast to win by 18 points, as opposed to 14 points only a few days ago.
Games at this year’s tournament have unusually been running into two or three minutes of injury time and Sporting Index reckon the referee will blow the final whistle after 81mins 15secs.

“This game would have been a severe test with a full strength side,” comments Sporting Index spokesperson Karl Suntay, “We think the ITV Director is going to cut to Jonny and Olly regularly just to show us what might have been.”
