KAUTO THE STAR OF THE SHOW!

Ascot attendance predicted to rise by 50% due to Kauto Star’s last appearance before the Cheltenham Gold Cup

London, 14th February 2008 - Kauto Star is without doubt the biggest attraction in racing at the moment and he is scheduled to have his final prep race before the Cheltenham Gold Cup at Ascot on Saturday. This meeting last year had an attendance of just under 11,000 and spread betting firm Sporting Index are predicting that with both the sun and the Star shining, 15,500 racegoers will flock to the Royal course.

Kauto’s potential battle with stablemate Denman exactly a month today has been the talk of racing all season and has drawn comparisons with the great Arkle and Mill House rivalry. Sporting Index are betting on the eventual distance between the two great horses at Cheltenham when they cross the line and currently predict that Kauto will finish 2 lengths in front.

Kauto the Star of the show
What will be the attendance at Ascot racecourse on Saturday?
5,250 miles
Kauto v Denman
How many lengths will Kauto Star finish in front of Denman in the Cheltenham Gold Cup?
2 lengths

“Denman was mightily impressive last weekend at Newbury,” comments Sporting Index spokesman Karl Suntay, “but Kauto is the star of National Hunt racing for many and we reckon his fans will come out in their thousands to see him one last time before his second assault on the Gold Cup.”
