PREM PLAYERS TO SCORE 14 AT AFRICAN NATIONS

Sporting Index predict Premiership players will score 20% of the total goals at this year’s African Nations

London, 18th January 2008 - The exodus to Africa is well underway and with 34 Premiership players taking part, there will be plenty of interest from these shores. Spread betting company Sporting Index are predicting that there will be 71 goals scored during the entire tournament and that 20% of those will be scored by players plying their trade in England.

“This is the time of year many managers dread,” comments Sporting Index spokesman Karl Suntay, “they will be missing their stars for a good month, but a series of good performances and a few goals can see their market value increase dramatically.”
