BOOKIES PREDICT 8TH NOV GENERAL ELECTION
44 days until the nation goes to the polls
London, 24th September - With the Tories floundering in the polls, the signs are increasing that Gordon Brown is going to call an early election to guarantee a full term for his government. Spread betting company Sporting Index are predicting that the country will go to the polls on Thursday 8th November – 44 days from now.
“Will he or won’t he? That’s the question we’ve all been pondering for the past few months,” comments Sporting Index spokesperson Karl Suntay, “His advisers seem to be moving towards an early election and with the polls as they are, who can blame them?”
