Sporting Index predict that nine other runners will take on Kauto Star and Denman at Cheltenham
London, 27th February 2008 - Sporting Index today unveiled a market on how many runners will face the starter for this year’s Cheltenham Gold Cup. The spread betting firm predict that a total field of 11 will line up in just over two weeks time and are certainly not expecting the record low number of runners than many have forecasted. "Even though Exotic Dancer may not be one of them," comments Sporting Index spokesman Karl Suntay, "we still anticipate a decent turnout. Let’s not forget that there has only been one occasion in the last 30 years when a single figure field has lined up for the Festival showpiece”.
