RECORD TV AUDIENCE FOR MOSCOW FINAL

Over a third of the population set to watch all-English Champions League Final

London, 30th April - Man United have made it to the Champions League Final in Moscow on Wednesday 21st May and will now look forward to a mouthwatering clash against either Liverpool or Chelsea. It is the first time there has ever been an all-England final and spread betting company Sporting Index are predicting a record audience of 20.6m viewers will tune in for the match. Audience figures peaked at 19m when United beat Bayern Munich in 1999, whilst a mere 14.6m watched Liverpool dramatically defeat Milan in 2005.

The majority of the country support either Man United or Liverpool,” comments Sporting Index spokesman Karl Suntay, “but even if Chelsea make it, we still reckon over a third of the 60million or so Brits will be glued to their sets for this historic game.”

“Ronaldo has been pretty faultless all season,” comments Sporting Index spokesman Karl Suntay, “He has scored a phenomenal amount of goals and has cost us thousands of pounds. Hopefully he’ll forget to put on his scoring boots one of these days and we can start to win some back.”
