Sporting Index predict four English players will take part in the Champions League Final in Moscow
London, 31st March - With four English clubs in the last eight of the Champions League and with a genuine chance of three making it to the semi’s for the second year running, Sporting Index are predicting the total number of English players who play some part in the Champions League Final in Moscow on 21st May. The prediction currently stands at four and much will depend on which of the English clubs qualify.
“This market is an interesting one for punters because each of the four English teams have a varying number of English-born players,” comments Sporting Index spokesman Karl Suntay, “If Arsenal make it to the final, Walcott and Hoyte would be the only real chances of seeing an English player, whilst Man United could field Scholes, Ferdinand, Carrick, Rooney, Hargreaves and Brown.”
