HEINEKEN CUP WINNERS
Europe’s premier rugby competition puts the best of France, Italy, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England against each other to decide the best club side in the Northern Hemisphere.
The rugby betting markets are always alive as the tournament gets underway, whether it’s to decide who will emerge on top in a tightly fought clash, or whether it is a rugby spread bet on how many points one of Europe’s top sides will rack-up against the Italian minnows.
The English and French sides certainly have the edge with France’s ‘Top 14’ competition providing four winners and eleven finalists whilst English sides have won the tournament six times with eight finalists.
But with both the Welsh and Irish sides improving with the introduction of the Celtic League, rugby betting fans should prepare for an end to the dominance of the Anglo-French sides to end.
