What are weekend specials?
Sometimes Sporting Index will take a number of events combine them to price up a special weekend market.
For example, we might take four sports fixtures and award points for a certain outcome in each one. For football, it might be a team scoring first; in darts it could be the player who throws the most 180s; in rugby the team whose shirt numbers make-up the most or even total games in a tennis match.
Using those four examples above, let's imagine points are awarded as follows:
The maximum market make-up would be 400.
The weekend special price quoted by Sporting Index may be 260-270. You would use your judgement to decide whether that prediction was pitched too high or too low and trade accordingly.
